A well crafted undercover cop caper, Infernal Affairs looks good and delivers the required tension, suspense and personal life subplots. Hitchcockian themes of confused identity are there for those who care to look, while extensive use of technology (not special effects) keep it contemporary. But it lacks that certain something.
An enjoyable 7 out of 10.
