Delia Smith’s morals under the ’scope

Original TV chef Delia Smith (US readers: I guess she’s Martha Stewart, without the business scandal) is making more headlines as owner of soon to be premier division Norwich City, which has placed her in the dubious world of football club morality.

Supermum has already mentioned the bought in sandwiches scandal (local cricket club thought they were special, but the stuff was by M&S). Now Delia’s busy defending fans against accusations of racism by refusing to sit in the directors’ box at Everton. They weren’t shouting ‘you black bastard’, but ‘you fat bastard’. That’s okay then.

Reader offers & paid-for links

Many businesses offer payment to those who link to them and paid-for links are often used here in preference to free links. While such links are not as obvious as other forms of pay-per-click advertising, they still don’t influence views expressed. Entries labelled ‘Reader Offer’ are advertising promotions.
