Welcoming Guardian Weekend readers

My latest dispatch from purgatory (#3: Greener Grass) has made it to the Guardian’s Weekend Magazine. So if that’s what’s brought you here, welcome!

The Guardian has quite a history of supporting blogging and regularly reviews UK blogs at www.guardian.co.uk/weblog with separate internet and technology blog for nerds at onlineblog.com. Rather sadly, all this success has come at a price. Blogging’s UK pioneers over at www.weblogs.co.uk, who collate blogs with a UK Blogs Aggregator are having trouble paying for all the traffic the website generates and have appealed for donations. In the meantime, no new feeds (blogs) are being added to the aggregator, which in this fast changing world is quite a handicap.
