This issue is still outstanding, the advice from Bloglet is to ensure dates in the RSS feed conform to the XML-RPC spec, found here: http://www.xml-rpc.com/spec.
In the meantime, Antonio Cavedoni provides an atom-to-rss converter at http://cavedoni.com/2004/02/rss1 which produces an rss feed that can be processed by Bloglet, although his is a test site with bandwidth constraints.
