Amazon no longer offer their own DVD rental service. Why not try LOVEFiLM instead?
Amazon.co.uk has followed up it’s tax-free shopping ruse, with DVD Rental. The subscription based service rents out three, four or six DVDs each month for £5.99, £7.99 or £9.99 (including postage both ways). Subscribers also get ten per cent off DVD purchases and rental histories inform Amazon recommendations. Subscribers choose a list of titles to rent with the first DVDs sent out immediately. After that new titles are issued each time one’s returned, so there are no late fees and Amazon claim to have ten times as many DVDs to rent as the average store.
