Land’s End, Cornwall

Legendary Land’s EndSo we made it to Land’s End (Legendary Land’s End apparently), which is dominated by a very poor set of ‘family’ attractions that look old and tired even though they’re only a couple of years old. Come to Land’s End and watch a film of an air-sea rescue of the type third rate satellite TV channels broadcast back-to-back.

Our visit wasn’t enlivened by naked ramblers, but once we’d got past the tat, it was brightened by great walking country. Land’s End was what we expected, but somehow a visit is an obligation on all visitors to Cornwall. I think I like the Lizard best.

While such links are not as obvious as other forms of pay-per-click advertising, they still don’t influence views expressed. Entries labelled ‘Reader Offer’ are advertising promotions.
