SubscribeMad Hot Ballroom is for those who ‘ah’ easily. There are comic moments, but too many kids across too many schools make it difficult to engage. This is not a film to push the myth that ‘they who try win’ when only one can, but we are told (rather than shown) that dance has transformed children.
