The Wheel of Manchester was the subject of my first mobile blog and I blogged it again and again and again as it went up. So you’d have thought I was the wheel’s PR man or was desperate to be one of the first up. But no. The thing is, Katharine has a little vertigo. Like all irrational fears, this should be challenged from time to time, but she’s yet to be persuaded, even though she’s been on the London Eye and last year’s smaller wheel.
This weekend the opportunity arose, thanks to friends visiting from the Lake District with kids in tow, and up we went. Here’s a view of my one favourite pubs, Sinclair’s Oyster Bar.
