Subscribe Good Night, and Good Luck isn’t a subtle picture. Making a story of past tyranny and witch hunts with parallels for today is not original. And the back stories are clumsy. Yet it is a well made, sometimes atmospheric piece with a message the mass audience almost certainly needs to hear.
A more than watchable 7 out of 10.
