SubscribeIt may be art house heresy, but Besson’s Angel-A would have been made much better as a Hollywood romantic comedy; Angel-A needed to do more than fall to Earth and simply tell her wretched charge to love himself. Hollywood would have given him a character arc and the pair some decent dialogue.
