Girls Aloud at V Festival 2006

Of all the acts we saw at this year’s V Festival, the best atmosphere was found in the JJB/Puma arena with Girls Aloud. This is what makes festivals great. You wouldn’t find me and Katharine booking tickets to join the kiddies at a proper Girls Aloud gig. But we couldn’t resist popping in to see the girls doing their thing. And we weren’t alone in that. Sure the kiddies at the front were squealing the loudest, but those of us who knew better were having a great time too… not a cynic in the house.

Next year I’ll have a much better camera phone, but low production values haven’t stopped me shooting some video (posts on V Festival 2006 in the rain for Dandy Warhols, Morrissey and Bloc Party are now video enhanced too).
