Which is rather silly at best.

You have to take pity on Dave Cameron. He’s desperately trying to convince Conservatives they must change to win, but still his opponents are able to caricature his supporters as racist. It’s a charge Conservatives know they need to shake off, especially after the disastrous ‘Are you thinking what we’re thinking?’ campaign. They called this a dog whistle that racists would hear while the rest of us remained oblivious to their hidden agenda. Similarly, Conservatives obviously thought nobody would hear them cackling to Inigo Wilson’s racist jokes. Yet perhaps the biggest giveaway that even Conservatives know they’ll never change is the Inigo Wilson supporter who threatened Orange with the Women’s Institute.
