It may not be the smartest looking Indian take-away in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, but the Village Tandoori is, to my reckoning at least, the best. It takes it’s name from the quaint Manchester habit of calling suburbs villages.
They do deliver free on orders over £10, but I’ve just left a most pleasant business meeting (at gone 9.30pm, but in the pub) and it was easier to drop in.
I’m particularly fond of the Samber: ‘a mild but sweet & sour dish blended with lentils, pineapple & lemon juice’.
