And when did you last see your father? films reviewed in 50 words-ish

Blake Morrison comes across as a bit of a knob in this autobiographical film of his relationship with his father. Having failed to emerge from his stroppy teenager phase, Blake needs a reason to hate the father who clearly adores him and feels need no need to say it. He finds his reason, of course, but it seems more of an excuse.
A sentimental 6 out of 10.
Director: Anand Tucker……Starring: Jim Broadbent…… Colin Firth…… Juliet Stevenson…… Gina McKee…… Sarah Lancashire…… Matthew Beard
Michael Clayton……Mr Brooks

While such links are not as obvious as other forms of pay-per-click advertising, they still don’t influence views expressed. Entries labelled ‘Reader Offer’ are advertising promotions.
