A veteran of a decade of V Festivals, I know better than to arrive with a large umbrella and something nice to sit on.
There things are generally banned on the pretext that they obscure views or could be used as weapons… but that doesn’t stop them selling inflatable seats inside or, this year, six foot tall wooden staffs with voodoo style skulls on top.
