Dogville: films in 50-words-ish

Von Trier’s determined to focus on a story – stripped down soundstage removes distraction; voiceover and intertitles ram it home – of humanity’s corruption. Apparently good people shelter a stranger, but consensus must hold for that stranger to stay, placing her at anyone’s whim and how that little bit of power goes to their heads.

A masterful 10 out of 10.
