A suicidal Mexican’s journey into the deepest countryside reveals a near peasant lifestyle in which nobody much cares for anyone. He enjoys what should be his last sexual awkwardness with an elderly lady and having completed some inner journey, chooses life. However, the filmmaker fails to share any insight with us.
