SubscribeMillions is great fun and while it hardly fits with Boyle’s more usual output, it certainly doesn’t bring any shame. The ending’s a little too sweet for my taste, there are oddities (filmed in summer, supposed to be Christmas) and the plot’s conventional. But strong performances and good humour raise the game.
A laugh out loud 7 out of 10.
