		<description>Luton doesn&#039;t show that local parties can&#039;t be relied on. It was only the GC/exec that endorsed Margarat Moran. They are people who will know her well and consider her a friend and are therefore finding the whole situation very difficult to deal with. Most members in most constituencies are that active to regularly attend meetings and campaign. Those are the ones expressing the most disquiet and the one thing that they usually do do is take part in selecting their MPs. 

Unfortunately the NEC meeting yesterday effectively ruled out re-opening selections. A huge mistake and I&#039;m pleased that at least some of the constituency delegates on the NEC put down motions and argued strongly in favour of re-opening all selections.</description>
