Much amused to read of David Aaronovitch’s reference to Little Britain’s Daffyd in his Guardian column today, over at Harry’s Place. He’s far from being the only Guardianista to support the war. Sunday sister paper, the Observer, for whom he also writes is on his side for a start.
So perhaps the Little Britain reference is more apt than he realises, as the official site tells us; ‘Daffyd flaunts his sexuality… to the villagers’ complete indifference. He refuses to accept he’s not the only “gayer” in the village, and is outraged when fellow gays trespass on his patch.’
