Signs and Wonders by Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom’s Signs and wonders, which is released on Monday 28 September, is a quiet album that grows on you. It’s like Arthur Lee’s Love has been reborn, but instead of heralding the end of the hippy utopia, Animal Kingdom hope to lead a revival.

While the final track, Chalk Stars, is clearly written to be anthemic (but could do with an injection of passion) nothing really stands out on its own.

Signs and Wonders needs to be enjoyed in its entirety at the end of the day.
