Symbolising the spreading of the seeds of co-operation, this is The Co-operative Dandelion on the side of the CIS Tower.
The CIS Tower was built when the Co-op was at a peak. It’s hard to believe this was once the tallest office block in Western Europe and that the Co-op was once the UK’s largest supermarket.
It was downhill for a few decades. Until now when we find the rebranded Co-operative on a recession busting high and urging us to watch Coronation Street on Monday 16 February.
