Village Tandoori, Chorlton-cum-Hardy

Click to see ‘Village Tandoori, Chorlton-cum-Hardy’ in a variety of different sizesIt may not be the smartest looking Indian take-away in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, but the Village Tandoori is, to my reckoning at least, the best. It takes it’s name from the quaint Manchester habit of calling suburbs villages.

They do deliver free on orders over £10, but I’ve just left a most pleasant business meeting (at gone 9.30pm, but in the pub) and it was easier to drop in.

I’m particularly fond of the Samber: ‘a mild but sweet & sour dish blended with lentils, pineapple & lemon juice’.

This posted via mobile via Flickr. Click the pic to see it large (there’s an ‘all-sizes’ tab for really large).

  1. I do love the curries at the village tandoori. Best balti and rogan josh in chorlton. Keep up the good work village people! LOL
